Why House Beautiful? After subscribing to dozens of magazines over the years, I have found House Beautiful to be the most diverse, the most inclusive and the one that continually feeds me with inpiration while keeping me current. However, I think sometimes they make it seem as if a beautifully decorated space or items are only attainable through the help of a designer. Don't get me wrong...I love designers and think they are essential - but being a do-it-herselfer
